Give me tips on anything that I publish, no bull, give it to me straight and tell me when something is bad. I appreciate comments on my writing and I understand that criticism is generally constructive, especially on here. I want to be told the truth, even if it's not particularly good because at the end of the day it will make me into a better writer than I was before.

PROMPT: Lunar Phrases

2

The moon is the vast emptiness that you feel when you're sitting all alone on a steep roof.

The moon

Hangs itself gloriously on the neck of night, a pulsing opal in the darkness.

Moon never gives herself to anybody, she drapes herself across the sky for all to see

She is radiant in the darkness that surrounds her.

Hi! this poem is beautiful! I like how you isolate the words "the moon" and give them a line of their own. I also like the phrase: "Moon never gives herself to anybody". I think that's beautiful and so true. Great job!!
