Turning 50 - If only it were true...
When turning 50 there are many things I wish were true:
My hair didn't need constant root touch ups.
My skin didn't need spackel to hide the lines.
My feet didn't resemble leather sandals (without the presence of a sandal.)
I could stay up past midnight and still get up and go to work.
I didn't wake up in the middle of the night (for no explainable reason) except to go to the bathroom.
I didn't fall asleep every time I sit down somewhere
I could still eat peanut butter without my stomach screaming in revolt.
My hands didn't resemble prunes.
I didn't worry about every french fry I eat.
I didn't think my mom was photo bombing me every time I pass a mirror.
