A Short Note to Schools and Those Running Them

PROMPT: First This, Then That

First they said they cared about student's mental health
Then they ignored the girl who was harassed
Then they said we were too chatty
Then they said we were anti-social
Then they said we were too hard on ourselves
Then they said we were lazy
Then they said we should go to college
Then they didn't help when it was too expensive
Then they said we need to sleep for eight hours
Then they gave us eight hours of homework
They said they believe one thing,
Then told us otherwise with their actions

And we said, Hey! When will you hear what we're saying?
This isn't particularly about my personal experiences, but in general about students. I hope you liked it!
