The Line

August 14, 2021

An enormous line had formed outside the train station. A handful of curious people stepping out of the train joined the line, standing on their tiptoes and craning forward to catch a glimpse of what lies at the end or start should I say. I decided to ask a standing stranger.
    “What is this line for?”
    “I don’t know.”
I left the stranger behind and followed the line, only to find myself lost in its long twist and turns. I asked another awaiter.
    “What is this line for?”
“Not sure. Yet, a line this long must be important, eh?”

Can I get a sequel? I would love to know what’s at the end of the line!
