fading shores

i am the ocean;
always shifting,
full of places i have yet
to explore.

you are sand;
all around me,
crumbling ever softer
until none of you
remains whole.

i couldn't have held you together
if i tried.

and i tried.

    re: ok woah that's quite a story.
    i have no idea what to say to that.
    i hope you recover from that whole experience and find someone who shares your values and who deserves you <3
    tbh i'm kind of bothered by how it sounds like sometimes he wanted you to help him - with his mental health, his secrets, whatever else - when that wasn't your job or your responsibility. the fact that he texted you about his girlfriend? objectively a little bit strange from an outsider perspective, and i can definitely see how that would have been a setback in you getting over the whole situation.
    (just to say i don't mean this to be annoying or offensive and i don't know MB or his situation at all! ahhh!) but seriously, you are awesome and strong and i have full confidence in you getting over him and doing awesome strong stuff <3333

    this is absolutely amazing, it feels very gentle, like the ocean and soft sand, I really have no idea how you achieved that, but it's incredible.
