Make My Own Rules

First they said I was too feminine
Then they said I was too rugged
Then they said to be tougher
Then they said I was cold-hearted
Then they said to enjoy my youth while it lasts
Then they said to grow up and stop acting like a child
Then they said I should connect with my inner child
Then they said I should have a child
Then they said I should find a lover
Then they said it couldn't be a woman
My question for you all is, when do I get a choice?
When do I get to decide what is right and what is wrong?
When will I be able to do absolutely anything as a woman without being judged?
When will I be able to share an opinion without being called a bitch? 
It may never happen, 
But one thing I have decided, 
I don't care what you think
And I'm going to make my own damn rules
