Crying in the Shower

Crying in the shower:
The water shaped like raindrops hitting the glass
Letting all your past feelings come at last
I know what it’s like
To think
Too much water, too much noise, too much rain
Out here they can’t see my pain
For the rain to drown out your sobs and muffled cries
I know what it’s like to sit on the ground and think did it mean anything at all
To watch tears blend in so perfectly with raindrops
To look up and wonder how did your world get so small
This world of yours slightly more grey than before, matching the sky
As water trickles down
As you stand there you catch a glimpse of something yellow
Still fighting through the downpour, just like you; a flower
And you smile. Just a little. As you’re standing there crying in the shower.
