Tears are written out of poetry, and poetry written out of
Fear and beauty go hand in hand,
sadness and joy just a reflection.
Darkness hides the truth in shadow, only showing
The darkest bits, and the brightest bits show ever
And reality is warped, and forgotten in the darkness.
Creativity shines strongest in darkness, both physical,
Words flow smoothest at the dark of midnight,
Music sings loudest with the heart cries.
Darkness hides reality, creativity shows a new reality.
Does anyone else write the best at night? Cause I do, and I'm pretty sure I'm not alone. I once read that it's because exhaustion inhibits your brain's rational decision making processes, and so when you write you don't feel as compelled to make things seem real.
