Haha so this seems a bit random, but when my family was driving back from the easter show (so I guess this is kind of connected to the fireworks piece), I put my head out the window, and suddenly got really nostalgic, because the road we were driving along, was a road we used to drive along a lot, because there used to be a church we went to a few times a week, which has now broken up, but we used to come back along the same road, and I would always put my head out the window there. Yeah that sounds weird, but it was kinda cool for me :)

and the nostalgia touched my soul like the wind touching my face

Driving home,
Late at night,
Sleepy chatter,
Waiting for the cozy bed.

I turn my head,
Out the window,
And feel the breeze,
Push against my skin.

Then suddenly I remember,
A time many years ago,
When we drove along these roads,
And I had done the same motion.

The feel of the wind against my face,
The gentle push on my skin,
The very smells,
The look of the road, and the cars whizzing past.
It brought me back again.

I definitely get this surprising nostalgic, thoughtful feeling. I love the title of this btw.

Aw I like this piece, I can really imagine it all happening. And that's so cool- I feel like roads are the most nostalgic of places!
RE: Haha, I feel like a lot of my titles give away the ending lol but "a tear" was still really good!
Thank you! And thank you- that means a lot! <3
