tomorrow's wrapped in swaddling clothes but tonight
i'll head down to 64 zoo lane, doesn't that sound right?
about right?

it's funny how things fall. sandcastles to Great
American Novels, they age all wrong and then.
well, then they're wrong.

i hold on to forgotten things--not because
their good but for the sake of remerbance.
and honey, would you

would you promise to hold tight to my memory?
even if it's a bad one. just for me? keep my songs,
sing them

even if
nobody else
ever does.

Whenever you use the word "honey," be it in your songs or poetry, it makes me melt. I absolutely love this piece, Sena!! It's packed full of so many beautifully bittersweet emotions!! <3

That first line is so striking but also muted. It's absolutely wonderful and totally threw me into the rest of the poem. I haven't read bluets, but I just looked it up and it seems like something that would be right up my alley.
