Hi! Thank you so much for checking out my piece! It's just a short poem about how I get stuck in my mind frequently. Nothing special, just my thoughts. Anyways, leave any feedback you want! Have a great day :)

My mind
Swirls with dozens of rhymes
From the simplest kind
Like ball, call or rang, bang
All the way to the words with complex definitions
Envision, transmission, or resplendently, insensibly
I wonder as I lay physically in my bed
Although I'm still full of energy in my head
And as I doze off to sleep
I get lost in my thoughts, stuck in these dreams
How I get caught up so much
These rhymes
They arrive pleasantly
In my imagination, they find refuge
And they're impossible to refuse
My ideas spin out of control, taking over
I wish someone was there to patrol
This has to be a crime
Of some type, right?
If only I wasn't imprisoned by my own brain
Trapped without an escape
