Message from Writer

Sorry for being so inactive for the past month! I technically broke my hiatus, so I figured I should update this. I might come on here a bit more now, but I probably won't be on here regularly until summertime. But I think I can remember to update my shoutouts once in a while.

If you've come to my profile, say hi! I'll check out you and your WtW pals.

Here are some amazing writers that I think deserve a shoutout. You should totally checked them out! If you haven't been on here yet, but you want to, let me know!

Please check these writers out!

Remember to smile! And a huge thank you to the 90+ people that follow me. It means a lot! :)

Me watching Hamilton with my family

February 11, 2021

2020 appears wooooooo *cue anxious anticipation as I wait to watch*

July appears yaaaaaaaaaaaaa *cue nonstop begging to watch it with my family*

July 2 appears *cue 96,000 seconds until watch time*

July 3 appears *cue the exciting screams of fangirling*

Me: Now... are we ready to watch Hamilton?
Family: Yes, ma'am.
Me: Good. First, I need to establish some rules.
Brother: Rules? Why do we need rules to watch a movie?
Me: Because you are insensitive moviegoers and I would like to enjoy the best seat in the house!
Brothers: We don't have to listen to you.
Mom: Yes, you do.
Me: Thank you for agreeing with me, mother.
Mom: you're welcome child.
Me: Ahem. The first rule is simple and specifically directed at you, siblings. PLEASE DO NOT SING OUT LOUD.
Them: *protests of outrage*
Me: You don't even know the lyrics! Besides, you know you'd only do it in hopes of annoying me. If you decide to watch it again, then you can sing aloud.
Brother: I'm willing to wait for it.
Family: *laugh*
Me: You're helpless.
Brother: Don't worry Rose. I won't throw away your shot.
Me: God, I hope you're satisfied.
Brother: oooooohohhhh i do i do i doooooooo
Me: Wrong song.
Brother: Oh well.
Me: Careful how you proceed good man...
Brother: What?
Me: Can I be real a second? For just a millisecond?
Brother: *not understanding the reference* sure...
Me: When it comes to ruining this for me, is there anything you wouldn't do? *starts humming The Election of 1800*
Brother: Huh?
Me: if you had to chose... if you had to choose... Huh? Oh. I win. Let's go watch Hamilton now.

*after it was over*

Me: *in tears* Man I said I wouldn't cry..... So, what do you think?

Brother 1: eh.
Brother 2: Okay, I guess.
Mom: Yeah, it was pretty good.
Dad: *reciting something he saw online* Isn't it historically incorrect? And doesn't put the founding fathers in too good of a light? Don't they make it sound like they're praising slave owners?
Me: *shuts down that argument in two seconds with my Hamilton trivia*
How many of the references did you get? :)

I love this!! When I watched Hamilton it was because my sister made my whole family watch it and everyone else wanted to and I was like "it'll be boring", and since then my sister and I have been singing Hamilton NONSTOP. I guess you could say that we are HELPLESS to how good the music is. I really want to see it on Broadway, and no matter how long it takes to do that I'M WILLING TO WAIT FOR IT.
    Anyway, great piece.
