FREE WRITING

an earthly purgatory
a situation in between times.
unsettling emptiness.
no human presence but the remnants of the past.
like footsteps on the abandoned moon.
a reminder of the cycle of the universe.
life may vanish
yet it’s impact remains.

Footnotes

I was looking at some images of nostalgic liminal spaces today and although they have an eerie sense to them, I find them comforting. It’s like looking at a real time ancient city. It makes you wonder the stories behind the spaces.
