you said you saw the demon in my eyes
while i saw only angels in yours

i beg you please stop whispering
farewell into my ears,
though i was addicted to humdrum

we were two progressive waves superposed
and our love went stationary

  could no longer

move on

* title inspired by Orion Carloto's poem Lethargically Yours
‚Äč* recently I learnt about the concept of stationary waves in physics class, and for some unknown reasons that just ignited poetry in me :)

Ah this is brilliant! I love it when poets infuse science into their poetry; it's one of the most beautiful communions. <3

I have no words for how well written this is.
This made me feel a pang of guilt, and I don't know why...

Re: thank you so much. The part you highlight was my favorite part of that poem as well:)
