i like it when mama makes me lunch.
i like it when mama watches shows with me.
i like it when mama plays with the cats with me.
i like it when mama is on her phone.
i like it when mama doesn't talk about my appearance.
i like it when mama doesn't call me her "girlie".
i like it when mama doesn't take me shopping.
i like it when mama doesn't comment about my food.
i like it when mama isn't angry.
i like it when mama doesn't hurt my feelings.
i like it when mama isn't yelling.
i like it when mama isn't home.


i wish mama would give me a hug and tell me she loves me.
but i think that's too much to ask. 
inspired by Things I Like About Papa from the game Doki Doki Literature Club. Dealing with mommy issues one poem at a time.
