I like fire (idk what to call this)

December 13, 2020

Sometimes I wish
I could set the rain on fire.
Thousands of tiny crackling sparks,

hissing against the ground.

The rain goes tip tap.

Would a spark make
any sound?

Would spark leave
any mark?

Or would they silently hit the ground
and immediately disappear
as though they never were?

Maybe they would grow into big roaring fires,
consuming everything in their path.

Fire is so beautiful.
But that is probably not super safe.

The rain goes tip tap.
No more no less.

Maybe that’s for the best.
That awkward moment when things are rhyming and you didn’t mean for them to rhyme and you don’t know if you should be pleased or frustrated...

Woah, it's only a week till Christmas, so you start decorating. You start to hang ornaments, with music playing in the background. Suddenly, an ad comes up, "Are you looking for Chapter 8? Then click on the link to find out more!"

I like fire too! Fire and rain... love it!

Sleigh bells ring, and horse hooves click. Your magical ride awaits! To chapter seven we go, over the hills and through the beautiful, fresh laid snow <3

Woah! Love this! What a beautiful concept to write about! And the two opening lines? That set my heart on fire! So beautiful! <3

Re: Of course! And lol, thanks-- my sister and I were joking about the original Shakespeare sonnet earlier, and I was like, "I'm going to write it just to spite her." 100% worth it in my book

The rhyming thing is too relatable lmao. Nonetheless, what a gorgeous piece!
