I float on my back with my limbs stretched out wide 
The soft, sunset waters bidding me home 
Midnight whispers of dreams kiss my eyes 
As I gaze into paradise alone 
 
Alongside the bay where the stars façade their fall 
Limp figures seal their fate with crimp-curved ink 
Restlessly twitching and itching for a call 
Their colorful fibers turn monochrome with a wink 
 
Nevertheless,  
I bid the sorrowful sun adieu with a cheerful wave 
Twinklings of moonlight tickle my ears 
Breathing life into me until I’m truly awake 
And the water below me disappears

    I'm pretty good overall. I live in California, so we're all over the place kinda. Lots of places are open but only sort of, my school is closed except for really young kids bc they're trying to open in stages, Thanksgiving gatherings were technically not allowed, church has to be masked at socially distant... Blech.
    Anyway, I'm physically sick (found out I have two chronic illnesses) but mentally and emotionally doing well. Hbu?
