Rotten Work

It is rotten work,
To take care of
Someone like
me

I am an old, wretched thing
Trapped
In a body of youth

With face,
Of darker skies and fuller oceans
But teeth
Of ivory and only
during moments of
Boredom

some blood.

To say that I am beauty, is not enough

Give me more.

make them have greater words in their
mouths
when they use dry tongues to seal
my name
to such ungrateful callings

Like rope, like
Chain

I want to be the thing that hangs your neck

To drips down
And down

To rest
So sweetly
between the swell of your breasts

Have your beating, sleeved heart;
The one coloured like the cheeks
of newly kissed virgins

Carry me
Off
And far
And ever so deeply
Into sleep so sound,
So peace-heavy,
That I may believe
That death had me
offed
During the passing night,
Under sick moonshine
With nothing but
A single kiss

I am rotten and for the rats

But.

You bring colour into my dead, snake-swallowed being
You, who makes me sweet
And good

I drink tea; black,
no milk
and think to myself,
Less be the sugar
In my cup
For I am
Enough
To make all things rest,
And wait
On my tongue,
And maybe yours
Turn to raw honey and

Sugar cubes

But.

There is a
necklace already around
your neck
It is gold,
And warm;
The busts of past Roman Monarchs tie lace around the soft of
your neck,

kiss the dips which
Hollow your collarbone

They take my place

Steal it, even

Dirty, dead thieves
Lay with me and the worms
We will rot as one

If I can not have you,
If I can not
Be sweet
And good

Then I rot

But fuck

So will the bodies of those

Who try to hang
your neck

For
That neck, that gorgeous
Thin
Breakable
Neck

Is mine.

Okay. Im done with the creepy, obsessive, almost, if not completely, dark and twisted POVs.

might do something sweet nexr
