Aesthetic: The Book Thief

November 3, 2020

Based upon The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

why is there snow?

A cup of hot tea
A dark window pane
An unfinished puzzle
The lamp that lights up the room

She grabs a flashlight
Sits down in her bed
Slides under her comforter
Safe from the world

A boy with bright hair
She laughs and she'd cried
She'd swore
Spent his young life with him

A girl with books
She laughed and she toppled over with her
She related
She wrote

They brought her up
Showed her how to cherish the words
Showed her how to make them right
Taught her to breathe her words like air

Rudyyyyyy im going to cryyyyyy nooooo my boy was toooo youngggg

This is cool, I read The Book Thief a while ago and it's so good and super sad.
Have you read All the Light We Cannot See? It's good and it kinda reminds me of The Book Thief.
