snowdrops
form
from the soft
tears
of
khione
and drop
upon
the heads
of the wanderers
the hungry
and the homeless
the bitter chill
of wind
is enough to
make them
lay down
in frozen
graves
slaves
to
boreas
all so
that he can
watch
his light show

Simple. Beautiful. Rhyme and meaning together. (That's so hard to do), and no punctuation! The title is stunning as well.

Nothing really. You've told a tale quite simply.

Reviewer Comments

It's lovely how you created this chilling mood with the poem. The snow, the deaths of the homeless and why they die all bring out this feeling of coldness.
