"Listen to me baby," he choked, "listen, you can't give up. No, stay with me baby. You can't do this to me. Listen, don't close your eyes. Just breathe, you're not going to die, cause you can't. Okay? Okay baby?" Her eyes looked glazed now, and she gasped instead of breathed. His hands held her face, but the blood was flowing again. "Darling," she gasped, "I. can't. stay. I. love. you. Please. Keep. fighting. Kiss me. One last.. time." He smiled, strangely, "Baby, you die, I die." and he closed the remaining inch of air between them, and kissed her once, gently. "Darling! Don't give up!" she whispered, and then her head dropped back and her eyes closed, the fighting fire gone.
He stared at her, her long eyelashes wet against her cheeks, her dark hair spread on the pavement, rain falling on her still, and lovely face. He stood up, dazed, "Oh, God." he whispered, "What do I do?" Then he ran to the edge of the bridge on which she had died. He leaned over and shouted "How could they? How? Kill my girl? My girl? The world has turned against us. Us! No, longer us! Alethea! Only me. Alone." and he vomited, dark rain falling on his bent head, then looking over his shoulder he whispered, "I'm sorry Alethea."

He did not jump, he turned and strode proudly into the night, weapon at his side, and revenge and despair in his heart.
Just some futuristic drama playing in my head..

Wow, this is so powerful. I felt the man's emotion so much, and it made me sad. Please keep writing! I've already decided you are the master of death scenes; I could see this in a movie!
