the moon settled in her eyes
blinding anyone who saw her

she didn’t show it off
neither did she brag
but she did pray that the light
would guide here to the right path

القمر ينزل في عينيها
لم تبدها
ولم تتفاخر
الشيء الوحيد الذي فعلته هو الصلاة
أن الضوء سيرشدها إلى الطريق
الصحيح
