THIS IS A COLLECTION OF SHORT POEMS UNDER A SINGLE TITLE

XXVI. i walk, and walk,
but some say i wander.
         so i wander
places no one else would want.
         sometimes it's cold,
or maybe this place is lonely.
because i may be its' friend,
but how can you befriend that which does not exist?

What did you think or see when you read that? Tell me, please. Whether it was the faintest scene or the most unintelligible flash, I'd like to know?

I feel... full. Like maybe it's ok to befriend something that doesn't exist, and that might be one of the best friends you have. The first part also reminds me of the quote from LOTR "Not all who wander are lost." This is really good!

Oh, and I envision a mysterious, twisting wood with mist. A place that might be scary to some and a solace to others. A place that might be in your head. Gentle, whispering, and slightly haunting.

It's beautiful even if I don't fully understand it.
