Tell me if any parts/paragraphs feel out of place or if I need to work on the flow of this speech.
That and any other comments (maybe reviews?) would be much appreciated <3
It's all too relatable. People's voices are being stolen. Which means they can't express what their mind wants to express, and that's ridiculous. You can't just take away someone's right of speech because it opposes yours. I find that often, the higher authorities are getting their ways all the time, while the "lowly" citizens are not even getting heard. And this is exactly what this speech is portraying. Overall, this speech has a nice twist to it because there were some parts where you added one worded sentences, which to me, is amazing. It gives off a nice dramatic effect which helps engage the reader.
This speech doesn't help me see this issue at a new light, because it IS a new light. I'm sure that if people just take the time too read/listen to this speech, their minds will be blown away and they will have "more heart".
Be careful with word choices! Picking the wrong word can really affect the overall feeling of the speech!
Although this is a competition where you need to say your opinion, try to add more of your own voice to it, if you know what I mean. This way people can really see your TRUE side and can understand how important this issue is to you. (Though you have added your voice to it, try to add MORE of it!)
Honestly, all I have to say is as you're working on your final draft of this speech, I hope that you are even more inspired and motivated to continue drafting. I loved the idea of this speech; it's so creatively shown that I hope more things you add to this speech comes from your heart.
Good luck in the competition! This is a really strong piece of work and I hope others can see this in a way that inspires them to take a moment an think about all of the voices that are being stolen away from people.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful and thoughtful piece with the Write the World community!! :D
