THIS IS A COLLECTION OF SHORT POEMS UNDER A SINGLE TITLE
XVIII. an ode to he who is dauntless -
i look forward to your downfall.
the moment fear invades your eyes;
the second you drop your sword.
when your knee quivers,
and you can no longer hold your sword,
i will be there at the moment of your demise.
whether i am to help you up or to pin you down;
will be on your decision alone.
What do you think when you read this? I'd like to hear your interpretation, these poems are for all to hear and for those who wish to connect to them.

Another very evocative and intriguing poem! This time I thought of a man who uses a mask of warrior fearlessness to hide any of his emotions or what he’s really like. The narrator is waiting for the moment that this mask drops and they can see who he is on the inside. That will determine whether he is a good person or not, and whether they will help him. I love how this poem tells a story!

ooioio I thought of this as an angel watching over a man in battle, debating whether or not to bring him to Heaven when he dies.
