Life and death flow intermingling
Promises kept and broken singing

Two hard choices stand before
Two promises of something more

My struggles war inside my heart
Rip me to pieces, part by part

When crossroads come which should I choose?
The path where I have less to lose?

Or will the victor win the fight
That finally lets me sleep at night?


 
The quote is from Words of Radiance from the Stormlight Archive  series by Brandon Sanderson.  This series just so happens to be one of my favorite ever and this quote stuck with me from the first time reading it.

    Wow! This is amazing! Now I understand how to do the prompt, XD! But I love that quote. It reminds me of in Avengers Endgame when Pepper says if Tony decides to keep the amazing secret to himself, he’ll be able to rest, but will he be able to sleep at night? Yeah, sorry ‘bout that, XD. But this is very beautiful!
