5 Senses: Autumn

September 28, 2020

I watch leaves
Make there way down
To the bottom
Of the town

I hear the wind rustle
Through the trees
And the falling

I crinkle one
Of the tree's petals
And feel it fall apart
While in my hand it settles

I smell a whiff
Of pumpkin pie
That is
So nearby

I take a bite once
And then a bite twices
While distingushing
The different spices

One smell brings back so many memories of that season. So, I decided to write a poem about the 5 senses of autumn. If you want, you can use this as a prompt and write a poem about a different thing that alerts your five senses. Put your link in the comments if you do, please.

This is so relatable. I love the tangy smell of autumn leaves. It's amazing how you can capture a season in merely five stanzas.

Also, I'm very surprised at how you like math. That's definitely something most people don't like, and I wish I could rely on you for math help!
