Lover of mine, take me to sea, where the sirens sing.
Lover of mine, answer their call, sail to darker waters.
Lover of mine, though I wish it so, you cannot stay here, down below.
For these waters are filled with demons galore, 
The songs of the sirens, deeper they lure.

So, there is more of this, but I decided to just share the first verses of the song that I'm writing. The idea is that the singer is a siren, and her love is a mere human. They're not allowed to be together, and the punishment is severe. This was the siren's last song, and sadly her love was not there to hear it.

    I really love this; the haunting feeling it gives me really makes me feel like I’ve been called away by a siren. It’s incredibly soothing to read too!
