And When?

PROMPT: Beyond Reason

9
When will justice settle over the land,
beautiful and right?
When will the blind man see his hand
instead of endless night?

When will tears be wiped away
and real glory seen?
When will sunlight replace the gray
and the barren earth grow green?

When will the powerful give
themselves to the precious weak?
When will the people who live
in utter silence speak?

And when will we learn to trust
without seeds of unrest
that the timing absolutely must
be true and best?

Amazing job! The rhyming is amazing, and it's such a fun poem to read! someday it all you said in your poem will happen, when Jesus comes back! Keep writing! You are an amazing writer! :) Revelation 21:4

  • hi i'm jackson ;)

yes!! i love the rhyme scheme, its very well put together! im not usually the biggest fan of rhymes, seeing as how i cant do them very well and they always turn out childish, but this is really well done! it adds depth to your message! good job, keep writing!
