Message from Writer

"This is the day that the Lord has made; let us REJOICE and be glad in it." - Psalm 118:24

My mind is like a good book in three respects: that it is easy to get lost in it; that it has lots of unexpected twists; and that there is never really an end.

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." - Philippians 4:13

"From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king." - J. R. R. Tolkien

The guardian, armored in gray, his helmet of emerald green adorning his mighty head. High into the sky he soars, for a giant he is. Strong arms outstretched, protecting all who are his own. In autumn, he puts away his helmet of green, and replaces it with a helmet of cinnamon orange. In winter, he sets down his helmet and sleeps. The guardian, at rest. Still, he protects. Though calm, he is intimidating.
But the enemy came. Powerful; armed. They cut him down; down fell the guardian.
The guardian, old, wise, fallen.
