"If I don't agree with what you want me to agree
If you get offended at the words I speak
Then the world locks me up so that nobody can see
That it's truth, that it's truth, that it's truth
So cancel me."

My poem is short and simple but I feel as if it says all that it needs to. Your reviews and comments are VERY helpful! Enjoy!

Writing Streak Challenge -- Week 5: We Call Them Trees

August 10, 2020

You look up towards the sky and discover a beautiful sight;

The top of the blanketed forest.

Arms outstretched, hair undone, blowing in the wind.

Wrinkled and worn their faces appear.

Colorful, dull, resilient.

Landscapes full of these amazing creatures.

We call them trees.
