Being in same situation and condition does not bring any growth. Being in pain and being uncomfortable is growth. Like seeds get a cut on its body to develop itself. this is no easy.

COLOR OF MY SKIN IS NOT THE COLOR OF MY HEART

The more eumelanin in my skin,
does not make me delinquent, for me it is grin.
I am a dystopian girl who was born in the colossal world,
dreams in my glittering eyes are pearls,
my life is not being analogous to the white girls.
I relish being under a clementine sky,
it allows my magnanimous thoughts to fly,
I cherish and never cry.
All and sundry uncanny expressions,
gives me no depression, in fact a way to progression.
I boiled under gibes and jeers when I was told,
that the skin color matters a lot while marrying, I was foretold.
My father sold wolf tickets and my ponytail was rolled,
this discernment makes me bold.
My mother tried plethora of home-made remedies,
to make me fair and shine like a gold.
Apparently, it made my peace down and sold.
I desperately wanted to bite the bullet,
I am living, breathing and am a pellet.
Everyone think I am black and a barrel of laugh,
but I am more than that, they have just seen me half.
I always try to paint the town red,
I am training myself to contend against problems ahead,
I try to make my love spread,
despite of all this I am writing and putting my life away from threat.
