Train Boy/girl

On the train to Antarctica…

Miranda- Hey Brianna! Come sit with me!

Brianna- (sits down) Whew! It’s been a long journey so far!

Miranda- Yeah, but only a few more days until we get there!

Andrew- Hey guys! Have you heard? We’re stopping in 5 minutes to have a break!

Brianna- Great!

Avery- And there’s a gift shop!

Miranda- really?

Brian- Yeah, the train boy/girl is going to come around any second now.

Train whistles

Train Boy/girl- Off the train! Break! There’s a gift shop so bring your money!

Lucy- Hey guys! wait up!

Taylor- huh? Oh hurry up! we only have half an hour you know!

Lucy- Okay! meet you there!

Enters shop

Lucy- Uh why are all the shelves empty?

Lucinda- I don’t know, maybe there’s nothing to buy. Let’s go.

Storekeeper- Hello there! What are you shopping for today?

Avery- well, what do you have?

Storekeeper- I only have one item to sell and it’s the gift from God, it’s the greatest gift anyone can receive!

Andrew- Okay, how much is it? ( pulling out money)

Storekeeper- Actually it’s free! God’s great gift is free!

Tyler- Wow! but wait, one question, what is the gift of God? And how can we receive the great, gift of God?

Storekeeper- excellent question! The gift of God is him sending his own son Jesus to die for our sins! And all you have to do to receive the gift of God is to accept him into your heart as your lord and savior!

Taylor- Wow! But why would God send his own son to die for us? I mean, we’re just normal people!

Storekeeper- Because God loves you very very much and he wants to be your lord and savior and most of all, friend.

Storekeeper- All you have to do after you ask Jesus into your heart is to have Hope, Grace, and Faith.

Hope- Hello!

Grace- Hello!

Faith Hello!

Andrew- WOW! I want Jesus to be my friend, and ask him into my heart!

Avery- me too!

Lucy- me three!

Tyler- me four!

Storekeeper- Great choice! now all of your sins will disappear, and Jesus will live in your heart!

Everybody- Hooray!

Train boy/girl- All aboard! Train to Antarctica! Leaving in 5 minutes!

Lucy- Let’s go!

Runs offstage

Grace- “For it is by Grace you have been saved, through faith- and this is not from yourselves, It is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast.”

Ephesians 2 8-9

Hope- We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain.

Hebrews 6:19

Faith- For God loved the world so much, he sent his one and only son, and whoever believes in him shall not die but have eternal life.

John 3:16

This is a play I wrote for my class.
