To sum myself up in words... hm, A moment in time to describes me might be when you're gathered quietly around the wood stove with your friends and family, tea's on and for whatever reason Miles Davis is playing in the background. Est. Jul 2020

Help me out! Comment and review, like if you want, it all helps.
When people react to my writing I feel like writing more, which is my goal.
I've sort've been on hiatus for a while, and coming back my life is suddenly crazy busy. Besides that, the old man part of me has become very vocal, any work I do post will be crazy edited. So... not much activity here. But I'll still share my thoughts with you.

Plaster Box

Points move around a plaster box.
Feelings and emotions, hopes and desires mock,
at the bottom of the world like rotten limes,
The joy and light and expression of my times.
Oh lord!
I cry out to the stars and sky,
Lie on a bed of grass and cry.
Where bees flit from tree to tree,
Where the movies in my head abandoned me.
What have I done and said?
Been alienated from those fairy lights outside my head?
When I lie awake at night.
seeking the end of a highway to light.
I'm sad.
Sad to hear what I said, what I did,
for not joining you, not lifting my lid,
On a plaster box.

I love this piece, your details are wonderful, and I love how you ended and began with a line that included the "plaster box" metaphor. Great job!! :)
