I'm taking classes at a college and I'm always too busy to be on WtW now, but I'll try to stop by sometimes!

Sunshower

10
One day the sun shattered
and fragments of fire rained down from the sky.
Crystal raindrops lit with gold
fell softly to the waiting earth.
Time slipped away, laughing, unnoticed,
like a river rushing by the waterside.
A band of colored light hung
on the pieces of falling sun.
Then the clouds cleared away,
the blue of the sky quenched the golden flames,
I breathed in the warm smell of rain
and the world breathed in with me.
Then I turned and went on my way
bringing a piece of the sun inside of me.
