Daydreaming and procrastinating more than is healthy.

Writer's block and sleep deprivation are my constant companions.

Feedback really helps, people. Be brutally honest, please.

Reviews are greatly appreciated, but if they don't offer any criticism, they're not much use.

will we ever know?

PROMPT: Beyond Reason

are heaven and hell but
star-crossed lovers?
do raindrops ever wonder
where they'll fall?
what do the hills whisper
to each other at twilight?
does the space between
two stars ever feel lonely?

do emeralds cry when
they look at tall trees?
are moths ever jealous
of butterflies?
do whales ever long to
swim among the clouds?
will we ever learn to
whistle like the wind?

this has the energy of one of those gorgeously illustrated children's books that kids remember even as adults and go to the library to find so they can submerge themselves in whimsy and nostalgia.
