Quick storytelling-type poem. I hope you're having a nice day!

The first breath of dawn is so alluring
For when bumblebees shake the dust from their broken wings,
The kingdom comes to listen.
        You never listened to me
And all throughout a monochrome twilight,
A violet cloak flutters over the sky,
Bringing forth colour and light and
Oh, how lovely is the dawn?
    Helios always liked the dramatics,
Don't you play that card again
Pulling the sun through the cerulean dome up there,
Bloodying the horizon with crimsons and pinks.
You used to look at the sky

I could nearly reach up and touch the sunrise,
But the morning dew keeps me grounded
How could you do something like that to me?
Roses have thorns for a reason, my love
And from the parapets, I watched you with a gold-tipped arrow in my hands
But the sunrise was too distracting.
                                                                        You were too distracting

Now the morning birds are singing sweet melodies,
Just as you sing sweet lies
The storyteller in the village has a new tale,
One of the palace guard who protected all but her heart
I'd take it out on you,
But this aurora has painted my eyelids silver with mercy
                                                                                                                                      Mercy you do not deserve
So next time you call for the ravens,
                                                                                                                                         Remember I am their master
I taught them how to lie,
Like you taught me how to cry
You were always a good teacher.                                                                                                                   The parapets are slick with morning rain
And this aurora has saved you again
I toss my arrow to the flames
Because hurting the one I love would be an act of hypocrisy
And the dawn does not like hypocrites.
Aurora has turned my attention to the sunrise.

Writers like you have a storytelling ability in poetry that I will never have. I'm not saying that to demean myself, I'm just pointing out your talent that not many people have. I love it.
