Do you ever get that feeling
When you go to sleep
And you can't go to sleep on one side?
So you turn over
And go to sleep
But you don't realize it
You fitfully drift on the waters
Of unconsciousness
But it feels like the ocean is trying to drown you
Every five minutes
You wake up and go back to sleep
It feels like you have a high fever
And the seawater is stuck and solidifying in your throat
Every time you come up for air
You are thrown violently down into the water
Then you wake up, for real
It feels like you were never asleep
But you check your clock
It's one in the morning
You feel relieved
Because you escaped the water
This time
This happens to me a lot idk why. It's weird, but it does feel like I'm either sick or drowning.

have a weird sleeping schedule, sometimes I sleep in 15 min intervals all night.

When I read this, I was literally like 'How did she read my mind... How does she know what my sleeping is like!?' This is really good, you wrote this really well.

Yes, that happens to me sometimes too.
"You fitfully drift on the waters
    Of unconsciousness"
    Nice line :)
