Pages flutter
I nestle near the shutters
The night is silent
A peaceful lull
Allowing me to read
The night circus has come alive
On the lush green stage outside
They wither and tumble
In the moon's spotlight
Dark dancers, passing by
They get lost in the alley
Where its own band plays
A ragtag chorus of meows and clatter
Music underneath mindless city chatter
But further on
The dark dancers glide
To Neverland and Narnia
Destinations in my imagination
They're hidden in plain sight
Which adds to the magic of night
based off the prompt of "night magic"
it has some nice vibes, I think XD

    also i'm currently reading this at night near a window but no moonlight, cause global warming.
