A roller coaster can be scary,
as it goes
up, up.
The suspense builds
with every centimeter
of added height,
every second
in time,
as it goes
up, up.
And so does danger,
as seconds elongate,
and the point of
no return,
has long since
been passed.
Still, the roller coaster,
it goes,
up, up.
Up,
up,
up.

At the top,
at the turning point,
at the point of choice,
things go wrong.
The roller coaster twists,
twists, twists,
twists,
off the track.
The sense of danger
turns into a reality,
so that reality
is no longer
real,
but a nightmare.
Within one long,
long, long,
long,
millisecond,
the roller coaster
is falling.
Actually
falling.
Through
the
air.
Not on the track,
in the
air.
After a few seconds
have passed,
the longest few seconds
ever recorded
in history,
the roller coaster
hits
the ground.
The screams,
the screams that were there,
there for all of recorded time,
stop.
The world, it goes,
goes,

goes...
