How to Create a Poem Out of Thin Air

Pick words from the atmosphere
and spin them; do not steer.
They will fall at random,
soon to be in tandem.
Read it through. It won't make sense,
but resist the urge to through it over the fence.
Instead, change it, in a way that feels right.
It does not matter whether you have the sight
to see where it is going. It will go
on, and before you know
it, it will mean something
do something,
be something,
live
something.

Format it now, in a way that feels natural,
and flowing, like
                            a
                                 river, unpredictable
                            but
             predictable,
    changing shape,
   developing,
taking form.

Congratulations, you have m l  e

from
