Silence

1
Who will make it
to tomorrow,
from the ugly remains
of today?
Who will fake it,
causing sorrow
and many pains,
infinitely delayed?

Impossible it is
to tell
the future,
to smell
the fizz
of emotional
adventure;
it is only notional.

Silence connects
the world
in ever growing
bonds,
growing until
sound destroys
the delicate substance
that forms them.

Sound perfects
the zombies, who twirled
around mowing
lawns.
They did so practically still,
and acted as decoys
for everybody else, since
they were shinier gems.

Silence
Is
Our
Only
Hope
Of
Reaching
Out
To
Them

Whoever they are,
it is worth it.
