Hello people! What to say? I'm a Christian girl. I like to write. I write tons of poetry, some short stories, and other things.
God bless you!
-I wish I could speak every single language, wouldn't that be cool ?

You can be nostalgic for a place you've never been if you've been there in your imagination.

strokes of paint on canvas/those are my words on a page/watch as the ink blots drawn from the depths of my mind/stain papers as they grow yellow with age/wonder if they will live forever/in the imagination and thoughts of someone/for sometimes you'll find if the words are important/blotting them out is not easily done

Thank you to all who have supported me, and feedback is always welcome!
Also, if you comment on a piece of mine, I will generally respond to it at some point.

Friendship is strange, it’s like
Offering your heart up, perhaps tentatively, perhaps
It’s on your sleeve and easily presented, perhaps
It’s hidden behind many walls and shivers in fear as the cell doors open
As you bare your heart and ask for an autograph
And maybe one day you will be picking up shards of glass,
Trying desperately to rub out permanent ink and to cover sharpie scars with white-out
And a time might come when you trace the name and whisper memories,
Begging the graphite not to smear on your fingers as the scribbles fade with age
Or maybe you didn’t let them in, for you feared they’d examine your soul and find it empty
They would see the cracks of your insecurities and fears
And your failures would stand out like crows against a clear blue sky
But they coaxed their way in like a gentle breeze,
Finding the secret passages leading through the walls of your impenetrable fortress
And you hid behind a mask and you begged to be left alone
But they stayed by your side for a millennium,
Telling you to take all the time you needed because-
Because they would be right there, waiting for you
And the late nights and the coffees and the hot chocolates and texts
Soon painted your world in colors you had never seen
So your heart opened like a flower in spring
And with careful strokes they painted their names on your heart like
Masterpieces upon a crumbling wall
They saved you and you held them close forever and ever-
Friendship can be many things
Bittersweet and painful memories,
Betrayal and hurt,
Kind smiles and laughter
It is a cautious intimacy that begs you to
Consider your actions, remember that
You have inscribed their heart
And you mustn’t betray the trust that
They have put in you
But likewise, you must offer your own
And remember that though not all will keep that promise,
And some may leave before either of you are ready
There are also those friends who will stay your whole life long.

Oh gosh I love how you’ve portrayed friendship! It’s such an important and powerful thing and I love how you’ve captured it! I love the line ‘ Or maybe you didn’t let them in, for you feared they’d examine your soul and find it empty‘
