reviews pLeAsE. reviews without anything constructive are honestly a waste of your time, more than anything. be harsh or whatever when you critique me, but please do.

as for comments, they help a lot lol so if you drop a few, it would be highly appreciated.

when the summer rolls by
(and it never really leaves)
i will allow the sun to house
itself—fiery blue electricity
heat—in the small of my back
b r o k e n  blasphemy of beach
waves, sea gull sing-song cacophony
i am a phony at love

you do not exist anymore
fables of pastel dreams and
heaving chests, do you drown
in ceaseless reveries?
the day yawns in fragments
yellow shards piercing paper skin
float your boat my way
(i can't swim)
but if you want, i can lead all this
water to my lungs, seaweed bones
i like starfish blood cells
and the subtle surrender of
june madness

the brain knocks three times
(let me in)
and i clench the keys tighter
silver coffin, silver grave
i wanted to live so bad
but now, the waves cascade onto
bottomless skeletons, your lover
and mine
both bruised poltergeists
we wrong so many
we wrong so many
and i never apologize

i cannot make head or tail of this, but enjoy lmao :)

ooh i am so glad you wrote this, even if it isn't quite easily understandable. i like the dark end of summertime romance with a twist type thing. your imagery is banging. what are your biggest writing inspirations??? i'd love to know. no pressure, of course. just new here and curious!

aah love this love this love this. 'float your boat my way (i can't swim) but if you want, i can lead all this water to my lungs' is such a beautiful thing to say. i'm completely in love with the aftertaste of this poem.
