Flu Shot

A Cursed
Day.

The sophisticated man
In the photo beared a
Gleaming, but terrifying
Smile.

A group
Of children, smiling
Creepily
‘An apple a day..’

We continue to walk
Down the corridor

Finally reaching
A Green door.
Screams and shrieks
Coming from inside.

The name ‘Dr. Judith’
Written on a
Silver plaque.

It was time to get
My Flu shot.
This poem is somewhat similar to my last, both mentioning needles.
As you may be able to tell, I don't really like them at all!

> My last poem, and this one, was originally 'challenge' for my English class (we wrote a poem from random words that we found). I quite liked how they turned out and now they're on here!

    It definitely isn't fun!
We don't usually get them a lot, only a few times, luckily!

Woah, doesn’t sound fun. I’ve never had a flue shot in my life, we don’t usually get them where i’m from unless the flue is life threatening for you, so it’s a surprise to me when I hear its common in other places XD!

It is! It feels absolutely terrifying before going to actually get the needle.

P.S. thanks for following me! :)
