Message from Writer

I hope y’all have a good day and stay healthy :)

In other news, I think I have a follow-for-follow policy? I think .amelia. said it best: support definitely goes both ways. If you follow me and I don't follow you back, you can always let me know! There's no shame in that, and I'll quickly go follow you!

Please check out this post made by poetri about plagiarism. Though I bet most people have read it already, it is something everyone should read and understand:

Now, Dmoral13 has a wonderful post about WtW and some advice she has, y'all should check it out:

dawn, rising from her pale casket #BaringMySoul1

May 19, 2020

FREE WRITING

15
with nothing but the crude awakening
of the sun and stars, i rise, reborn
in the morning’s golden glow,
basking in cerulean euphoric madness.

some sort of sacrilege desecrates
this holy place, the glow of crucifixes
and neon signs pale god’s great orb
(amber ambrosia lifting into the sky).

slick smog and grey air's fog conceal
my glory, my golden shroud, once
i was hailed as a deity, called by many
Eos, Ushas, Zoyra, Mater Matuta:

mother morning, who birthed the stars
and sky and the soft clouds.
mother mourning, who pushed between
her thighs the moon, who only repays

its mother through slaughter. now, insanity
has revealed its fatal steel weapons and steel
factories, and pollution builds casket walls
around me and reads me my pale eulogy,

but still i rise, unnoticed and true
dawn, awakening
dawn, rising.
