Saying goodbye
is the hardest thing
With words left unspoken
and things unsaid
But this doesn’t have to be goodbye.
Perhaps, farewell, will do
Or, until next time, says it all
Maybe, in the next life, is all that’s left
Saying goodbye
Is the hardest thing to do
But I hope you know
I’ll think of you
until I see you again
Whether it’s in this life
or the next,
I’ll see you soon.

You did really well express grief and sorrow through words. Conveying emotion like that can be really difficult, but you nailed it! I felt that sorrow that comes from losing a loved one, but also peace and comfort from the last few lines.

You did really, really well. So, honestly, just keep it up. You're on point!

"I'll see you soon". What an amazingly beautiful way to close this piece. Leaving me with satisfaction that that is enough, knowing that somehow, one day, we will see our loved ones again.

This is the first piece I've read of yours, and I honestly can't wait to read more! You're amazing at conveying such deep intimate emotions through your writing. That is one of the hardest things to master, in my opinion, in writing— and you've got that down to a point! So keep it up!

I really love this piece. It's raw, deep, personal, and absolutely gorgeously poetic. The rhythm of your poem was done really well, a song-like structure to it. Great job!
