my \\best friend\\ has called herself //brutus//
     i said
don't be stupid. you don't even
 write. "it doesn't
matter." her hair flies beautifully in the
wind and i remember how she's always been
so
   so  much
 prettier than me.

"they wouldn't care
even
if i did."

she makes me bite my lips
    in the mall--it's
so much like red lipstick and yes,
i will take another picture.
       tag me again or
     don't or
   do you hate me or
 love me or
use me or
//brutus//

do you love me, i
    ask in my perfect
  sugar sweet voice and
"of course."
      she is cavitous, in herself--
bathed have we in our own toxicity until nothing is left but hate, oh my dear
//BRUTUS//

sometimes it's as if i have begged you to hurt me.

i wonder if the blood
    on my lips
is of my own robotic habit
anymore.
  or has //brutus// come to
stab me
        as well...
flowers stemming from her
     beautiful sword.

wow this came out of nowhere. not sure if i really retold the actual julius caesar story it but it's definitely...a thing.
and as with my previous things, where shall it belong if not the internet?
