Amidst increasing Coronavirus fears, Western Australia has opted to close schools one week early for the holidays, marking today as the final day of the term. For one local school girl, this will serve as a much-needed break.
"I know we've been having online school for the past week, but people don't realise how stressful even that can be," says lamonnaie, who couldn't be happier about it. "I know the circumstances aren't the best and I obviously would rather be at school if it meant we wouldn't have to deal with this pandemic. Yet this is still just really great."
With the holidays now extended to a whopping 3 weeks, lamonnaie and classmates alike can finally take some time off for themselves.
