Dear School, Why?

After the blare of the alarm clock, after rolling out of bed, after a hurried shower, and meal, after a short car ride, and a shorter walk, after hanging out with friends, after the first bell rings, after painting in first hour, after daydreaming throughout second hour, after dissecting sheep hearts for third hour, after band in fourth hour, after a cold, tasteless lunch, after laughing with 'Liv in sixth hour, after writing essays in seventh hour, after taking notes in eight, after the final bell rings, after it all, finally free for a few meager hours, before I must repeat the cycle.
